When we incorporated 6061-F FORGED WHEELS INC. in 2024, we were chasing a narrow gap: too many performance wheels were being marketed on aesthetic differences while quietly using comparable construction. We wanted to build a company that talked about load paths instead — and shipped wheels whose specifications you could read like an engineering datasheet.
Aerospace materials science, applied to wheels
Carbon-fiber rim shells and forged 6061-T6 monoblocks both come out of disciplines that take material behaviour seriously. Aerospace prepreg layup. Closed-die forging. Heat-treatment cycles qualified to spec. The translation to a performance wheel program is mostly a matter of refusing to take the shortcuts that are tempting at lower price points.
